Forum Algarve - The Gift

We Algarvios are truly spoiled: great weather – amazing food – non-stop entertainment.

This coming Tuesday, August 21st, we are in for another treat, a free concert at Forum Algarve in Faro, featuring The Gift.

The Gift is a Portuguese alternative band that’s different from any other band I’ve heard coming out of our borders. They have a truly unique sound, and a lead singer with a voice that makes you stop and take notice. The band has been around for a while and isn’t that well known outside YET…but something tells me it’s just a matter of time.

The Gift

Their music is edgy without being hard yet raspy and original; a lot of their stuff is a good mix of both English and Portuguese and definitely worth the experience.

The concert is being hosted as part of the Forum Algarve’s summer lineup of free concerts. Given the Gift is one of our favorite Portuguese bands; we’ll be there.

  • Time: 22H30 (if you can get there earlier the better)
  • Location: Forum Algarve in Faro (map)
  • Tickets: not required.
  • Cost: Free (you just have to show up early)
