One of my least favourite parts of planning a vacation is searching for a hotel. Pool, gym, room service, bar, Internet, kid friendly, the list goes on…and you still don’t know if it’s a good place to stay. But luckily, over the years sites like booking.com and other hotel reviewers have made finding the “right” hotel much easier. So we’ve done a little digging for travelers considering the Algarve, and here are the top 10 Hotels in the Algarve who’ve received some of the best reviews from past travelers, according to booking.com.

This list has a mix of 4 & 5 star hotels with a variety of price ranges. If you have any questions or would like our opinion on a hotel that’s not on the top 10, we’d love to hear from you.

The Quinta do Caracol exists since 1680. It is an oasis in the Algarve, an indeed charming place. Here, everyone is received in a familiar, comfortable and peaceful environment. Before it opened its doors to guests, Quinta do Caracol was a country farm where olives and almonds were produced. Nowadays, the Quinta consists of seven houses with the traditional architecture of the Algarve and with an original and welcoming decoration inside. Rooms: 7.

      Great list. For anyone visiting Sagres, I would say the only choice is to stay at the Pousada do Infante. One of my favorite hotels in Portugal.

      i’m looking to go to the algarve in the summer with my partner and 2 children (both under 10) has anyone any recommendations for a good family hotel, near to a beach, would want somewhere where they will be entertained but not so its too unbearable at nights. any comments would be really appreciated.
