Algarve Things To Do in March

This past weekend, the thermometer on our terrace tipped 20 Celsius, and we’ve been having consecutive 20+ temperature days here in the Algarve. This is by far one of the joys of living in a sub-tropical climate - the arrival of spring also marks the arrival of even warmer days, making us long for summer life to arrive.

Now, what’s the temperature outside from where you’re reading this post?

If its time you get a break from; rain, snow or freezing temperatures and you need to feel what it’s like to have the warmth of the summer sun on your face again, you’d might want to consider a mini trip to the Algarve.

And once you’re here – you’ll have many wonderful things waiting for you from warmer weather, great wine, finger licking good seafood and cultural events to keep you entertained.

The Algarve Tourism released their March Guide of things to do in Algarve, which you can download here.

I am looking at visiting Portimao with some friends in from May 30 to June 8. can anyone recommend any events we could attend?

    Hi Carlos,

The events calendars should be coming out a bit earlier as we get into the summer months. We haven’t seen anything come out for May just yet, but we’ll be sure to update when we have it. But rest assured there’s always something going on.

I’ll do a little digging and see if there’s anything in the works.
