A fresh new year has just arrived, what better time to look forward to something new, different and maybe even something that takes us out of our comfort zone. I like the coming of the new year more than spring, it lets us look back and evaluate but more importantly, look forward to the unknown that’s open for anything and seems limitless. The Portuguese new year isn’t over until king’s day on January 6th, but as usual in the Algarve, there’s plenty going on to get the year off to a buzzing start!

Solrir - 2nd Humor “Comedy” Festival
Solrir, a hilarious festival of humour, will be bringing together some of the biggest names in comedy from Portugal - Fernando Mendes, Raul Solnado and many more. Start the year in the best frame of mind, from 1st to 4th January in Portimão.
